Spanis Omelet

Most of the rides are great, each in different ways, from the Pirates of the Caribbean, which inspired the movie of the same name, Space Mountain, and the Mad Tea Party, also known as the classic spinning teacup ride.
Like a little bit of Middle America grafted onto the southern edge of los angeles, inland Orange County used to feel like a totally different world. Though the demographics have changed considerably in the past decade or two, in contrast to L.A.'s fast-paced, edgily creative multiethnic stew, Orange County in the 1950s and 1960s was suburban America writ large: mostly white, mostly well-off, and not the most exciting place to be. In short, a perfect place to build the ultimate escapist fantasy, the self-proclaimed Happiest Place on Earth: Disneyland.

This is a BMW concepted car designed by Transportation Design students Jai Ho Yoo and Lukas Vanek from the instituo Europeo di Design. They imagined the ZX-6 after being asked what the vehicles of 2015 would look like. Now call me crazy, but isn't 2015 just 7 years away? These guys are nuts. Besides, by 2015 we're not going to be driving cars anyways. Nope, the only thing we'll be driving is golf balls -- on Mars. ZOMG, Interplanetary Olympics!

The funniest part about capturing these images for this HDR shot was the looks I got from the businessmen trying to enjoy the peace and quiet of the VIP Lounge. Nothing like barging in with a Gitzo tripod and firing off rounds with the D3, machine gun firing style! Aaahhhh, I love it!
The reflections on the left side are from the windows up there. Guess I could have really raised a ruckus and asked the concierge to turn all the light out! I tried to shield them during capture and keep em to a minimum, but I kinda like them now.
